My family and I lived in the DFW Metroplex with a second home on the Brazos in a small community known as Tin Top, Texas. We would often escape the daily grind for a peaceful weekend on the river with no television, internet or reliable mobile reception. One weekend in late Summer of 2015, I sat outside under my two favorite oak trees gently blowing in the breeze, when it occurred to me… “We need to start our own business.” And so we did…

A mother of six, I strive to live a life showing my priorities to be Faith, Family and Company. My first of 6 children was born in 1998 and I spent the next decade growing my family and going to college. Along the way I experienced my first taste of entrepreneurship as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I earned an Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County College and a Phi Theta Kappa academic scholarship to TCU. I became fluent in Spanish and joined the corporate world working in Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales. During those working years, I attended the New York Institute of Art and Design online for Interior Design while working a second job in sales for Crest Commercial Roofing. With Crest I experienced the excitement of the roofing industry while learning the ropes, most especially with the insurance claims process. A growing demand in my network for residential roofs instead of commercial gave me a foundation for launching a business, and thus a dream born on the Brazos was realized! I’ve developed a true passion for the roofing industry and enjoy all facets. Our first job through Ann Aaron Interior Design sentimentally inspired the creation of the Ann Aaron brand, and we’ve grown from there! In the future, I am confident that Ann Aaron will be a nationally known and trusted brand!
